The Central Florida Development Council provides its existing businesses and companies interested in locating in our community a wealth of information on the business climate and demographics of Polk County, Florida. Our economist Gordon Kettle maintains and updates frequently a complete demographic profile of Polk County and prepares a monthly Economic Barometer detailing key indicators influencing our growing community. Individual data on our municipalities and for our county is found in the City Profiles section featuring Claritas Marketing Reports. Also available to clients is an Economic Retrospective prepared for Polk County by SRI International in its comprehensive Industry Cluster Assesement and Selection Study.
